Research project plan submission for the 13th International EAUN Meeting, Paris, France, 25-27 February 2012 is open from 1 July 2025 until 1 November 2011.
Detailed information on the EAUN Nursing Research Competition
From the Milan meeting (March 2008) onward, the EAUN is looking to support your nursing research project. A jury will select 6 nominees and a winner. All the projects of the nominees will be discussed in a scientific session, thus creating the possibility for all participants to learn from other projects, through feedback and discussions. The winner will receive € 2,500 to start his or her research project. Don’t think too quickly that your idea for a research project is not valuable enough for this session. Small research sometimes brings the most amazing results, or opens the door for big international research.

Consider the following guidelines before you begin your research protocol:
Your research project has to be presented as a project plan (see rules and criteria) and hospital names and addresses, cities and country names should not be mentioned except in the submission form or in the first paragraph of the document.
The jury of the EAUN Nursing Research Competition
Prize
The prize for a the Best EAUN Nursing Research Project is € 2,500.
The prize is supported by an unrestricted educational grant from FERRING PHARMACEUTICALS.
The prize winner has to be present at the award session on Monday to accept their prize.
Submission
The research project plans should be accompanied by a Submission form on submission. The Submission form can be requested at: [email protected] or downloaded here.
The research project plans can only be submitted per e-mail. Send your complete plan with the Submission form as a Word file to [email protected], starting with the names of the authors and contact details of the first author, before 1 November 2011.

Presentation
Submitters that are invited to present in Paris will receive 6 standard slides in December 2011 with the following titles: Aims & objectives, Research question, Population, Material & Methods, Expected outcome, Literature search strategy. All presenters are obliged to use these slides in their presentation in order to improve the comparability of the presentations and the research protocols for the audience and jury.
