What is a proof of status?
A proof of status is required for residents, nurses and PhD researchers, who wish to register for the congress and currently do not have EAU or EAUN membership. A proof of status is an official letter from the Head of Department or Head of Hospital, which confirms the status of the applicant. The document must be issued on an official letterhead of the hospital and mailed to the EAU Congress Department.
I am an EAU Member. While making an online registration, I was alerted that my membership fees are due. What should I do?
To qualify for the EAU member registration fee you need to have paid your membership fees up to and including 2012. Please contact Ms. Jessica Bijlsma-Hatzmann at the Membership Department of the EAU before proceeding with your congress registration.
Does an exhibitor badge give access the sponsored sessions?
Yes, an exhibitor can go to all sponsored sessions during the EAU Annual Congress.
Are there any reduced fees?
Yes. We offer individual fee reductions to all EAU members. If you wish to know more about EAU membership or apply, please visit the official EAU website.
Are lunches, coffee breaks and/or dinners included in the registration fee?
No, the registration fee does not include lunches, coffee breaks or dinners
Can I cancel my registration for the 27th Annual EAU Congress?
Yes. Please inform your contact person that you want to cancel your registration. Here you can find more information about fees and conditions.
How can I register for an ESU course if my online registration is already completed?
Please inform your contact person or send an email to the EAU Congress Department. In your email, please include your contact details and which course you want to register for. The ESU course (if still available) will be included in your registration by the registration staff and a new invoice will be send to you by email.
How can I register for the EAU Evening if my online registration is already completed?
Please inform your contact person or send an email to the EAU Congress Department. In your email, please include your contact details and your request to purchase the EAU Evening tickets. A new invoice will be send to you by email. Tickets for the EAU Evening can also be purchased on-site, subject to availability.
I have finished the registration before a deadline, but I have not yet received my confirmation documents and invoice.
The registration department will contact you as soon as a confirmation of your payment has been received. If you paid the registration fees via bank transfer, we recommend that you email proof of payment to the EAU Congress Department to speed up the processing of the registration.
Which VAT percentage is applicable for my registration?
Regarding VAT charges on registration fees, three questions are eminent:
1. Companies with a French VAT Number.
2. Companies located in an EU country without a French VAT number.
3. Companies located outside the EU?
1. If you have a French VAT number you will be charged according to the reversed charge mechanism and no V.A.T. will be added to the registration fee.
2. If your company is located in the EU and you do not have a French VAT number you will be charged with 19,6% V.A.T.
3. If the answer to the first question is outside Europe, it’s important whether or not you are a company or not. If you are a company, VAT is not applicable. Are you an individual person, we have to charge you the high percentage V.A.T. of the country where we organize the congress. In France the high percentage V.A.T. is 19,6%. If you are not a company, you will always be charged with 19,6% VAT.
How can I add more delegates to a registration when the registration has already been finalised?
Please send an e-mail to the contact person who processed your registration. Include the name of the doctor and work/home address. Your contact person will make the adjustment to the registration and send you the new confirmations and invoice.
Can I make a name change in my registration?
Yes. Please send an e-mail to the contact person who processed your registration. Include the name which needs to be changed and indicate the new name. Your contact person will make the adjustment to the registration and send you the new confirmations and invoice (if applicable). Here you can find more information about fees and conditions.
What is the difference between a “group-individual” and a “group-group” registration?
Group-individual:
This is a type of a group registration. The delegates should collect their congress documents individually at the pre-registration desk. You will receive a separate confirmation for each delegate.
Group-Group:
This is a type of a group registration. A representative of your company/ travel agency will collect the congress documents of all delegates. When you register a group, we will confirm a timeslot to collect your delegates congress documents.
I want to register a delegate (not myself) but I have never done that before; do I need to sign up first?
Yes, every person registering anyone but themselves needs to sign up first.
Otherwise the congress documents will be sent to the delegate registered, instead of yourself.
